We draw a small blood sample, concentrate the platelets and growth factors in a centrifuge, then place them into the thinning areas of the scalp. Treatment is typically a series of monthly sessions followed by maintenance, and results build gradually over months.

Evaluation
We review your history and pattern of thinning to confirm PRP or PRF is a good fit, or suggest a dermatology medical visit first.

Blood draw and preparation
A small sample is drawn, much like a routine blood test, and prepared in a centrifuge while you wait.

Scalp treatment
The prepared PRF is placed into the thinning areas of the scalp with fine injections. Most people feel pressure and mild discomfort.

Series and maintenance
Treatment is typically a series of monthly sessions, followed by maintenance to protect your progress.
Downtime
Little to none: the scalp may feel tender or slightly swollen for a day or two, with most people back to normal routines right away.
