Meet Sangini Patel: The West Loop Injector Chicago Has Trusted Since 2004

22 years in dermatology, more than 100,000 aesthetic procedures, and a practice of her own in the West Loop. This is the story behind Liv Aesthetics Chicago.

Some of Sangini Patel's patients have been seeing her since 2007. One has been with her for more than twenty years. Several have followed her from practice to practice, across the city, and now to the West Loop loft where she runs a practice that carries her own vision: Liv Aesthetics Chicago.

This is the story of how a Physician Assistant who has spent 22 years perfecting her craft became one of the most trusted injectors in Chicago, and what that experience means for you when you sit in her chair.

22 years of dermatology, starting in 2004

Sangini is a board-certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) with a master's degree earned with honors. She has practiced cosmetic and medical dermatology since 2004, 22 years at the time of writing, and she was trained by top board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons in Orange County, California, one of the most demanding aesthetic markets in the country.

For years she worked alongside board-certified dermatologists, treating everything from acne and rosacea to skin checks, while building a reputation for her injectables. That medical foundation is still the first thing her patients notice. As one long-time patient put it:

"She is a qualified PA with many years experience working along side board certified dermatologists... She has good judgement with product placement and suggests procedures that will benefit you aesthetically. Your safety is very important to her." Lorraine F., patient for over ten years

Over those years, Sangini has performed more than 100,000 aesthetic procedures. That number matters, because injecting is a skill built one face at a time. Knowing exactly where a muscle sits, how deep to place a unit, and when to stop only comes from repetition.

Building a practice of her own

Every injector reaches a point where they want to do things their own way. For Sangini, it came after nearly two decades inside larger dermatology practices. She wanted something more boutique: a smaller, calmer practice where every patient gets her time and attention, and where she could build the kind of female-founded business she had always admired.

She also realized that, over the years, she had developed a way of treating that was entirely her own. Patients asked for it by name. Today we call it the Sangini Method, and it rests on four principles:

  1. Skin health first. Underlying concerns like acne, rosacea and sun damage get treated before anything is enhanced.
  2. Subtle injections. The most impact with the least product, so you still look like you.
  3. Medical-grade skin care. Prescriptions and products that keep working between visits.
  4. Lasers, strategically layered. Energy treatments timed and combined for the most natural overall result.

Running through all four is one rule: honesty over upselling. If a treatment won't help, she says so.

So she built Liv Aesthetics Chicago: a boutique, women-owned practice in a light-filled loft at 954 W Washington Blvd in the West Loop, with exposed brick, soft light and a small team she trusts completely. Patients who had seen her for years followed her there.

"I've been seeing Sangini Patel as my dermatology provider for years, so I was thrilled when she opened LIV Aesthetics Chicago. From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed." Jessica G.

Building a practice from the ground up is never easy. It means taking on every decision yourself, from the space and the equipment to the people and the patient experience. As a female founder, Sangini chose to do exactly that. The reward is a practice where every detail reflects how she believes aesthetic medicine should feel: unhurried, honest and personal.

Why Chicago trusts her with Botox and fillers

Read through LIV's five-star Google reviews and the same themes appear again and again.

She places every unit on purpose. "She knows the perfect recipe for exactly what I am looking for and I love how she strategically places each unit," writes Nicole M., who calls her "a true Botox artist."

Natural, never overdone. "Never too much or never too little," says Suzanne H. "She is an artist!"

She will tell you no. "Sangini is not a 'YES' provider," writes a patient who has followed her since 2007. "She really does care about you and your goals... even when that means having to say 'NO'."

She doesn't rush. "She has an artist's eye and never rushes," writes Lindsey M. "My own mom and sister now see her exclusively."

We have collected every review that mentions Botox in one place: read what patients say about Botox with Sangini, or browse all of our patient reviews.

The medical eye behind the artistic one

What makes Sangini unusual is that she thinks like a medical provider and an artist at the same time. Patients describe her as "incredibly talented when it comes to the artistic placement of botox and fillers, but also medically minded."

In practice, that looks like:

  • A real consultation. She asks what bothers you, watches how your face moves, and explains her reasoning before anything is injected.
  • Conservative first treatments. New patients often start lighter, with a follow-up to fine-tune.
  • Regenerative options. Sangini has a particular passion for regenerative aesthetics like PRF, EZ Gel and Airessence PDGF+, which use your own biology to improve skin quality.
  • A whole-face plan. Botox, filler, lasers and medical-grade skin care work best together. She will tell you which one to start with, and which ones you don't need.

The team she built

Sangini didn't build LIV alone. Laser specialist Maria Sanchez brings more than 17 years of aesthetic experience, and patients mention her by name in review after review. Nurse injector Brenda Torres, BSN, RN, and aesthetician Laura Memishi round out a team that patients describe as warm, knowledgeable and never pushy. Meet the whole team.
