Spider veins and broken capillaries are common. They can follow pregnancy, hormonal changes, weight changes or long periods of sitting or standing, and genetics play a big role. We offer two ways to treat them. Laser treatment directs light energy at the vessel, which heats and closes it while the surrounding skin is left intact. Sclerotherapy uses a very fine needle to place a solution into a leg spider vein, which causes it to close and fade over time.
Facial vessels are often too fine and too close to the surface for other methods, which is why laser works well here, while leg spider veins may respond to laser, sclerotherapy or both. Sangini and Maria Sanchez, MA, assess the size and pattern of your veins and recommend the right approach. Larger, bulging varicose veins are different, and we will tell you if a vein specialist is a better first step.

How it works
Spider vein treatment
Laser and sclerotherapy to fade spider veins and visible vessels on the face and legs.
We offer two ways to treat spider veins. Laser treatment is a precision treatment that targets facial telangiectasia (visible vessels), leg spider veins and vascular lesions with concentrated light energy, without damaging the surrounding tissue. On the face, these vessels are often too small and too close to the surface for other methods.
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment designed to reduce the appearance of spider veins, most commonly on the legs. Over time, treated veins fade. Compression stockings should be worn after treatment, so please bring them with you to your appointment.
Visible veins can appear after pregnancy, with medication use, hormonal changes, weight changes or long periods of sitting or standing, and genetics play a big role too.

What to expect
- 01
Assessment
We look at the size, location and pattern of the vessels, review your medical history and choose laser, sclerotherapy or both.
- 02
Treatment
Laser delivers short pulses of light to each vessel, which most people feel as a quick snap of heat. Sclerotherapy uses a series of tiny injections into each leg vein.
- 03
Aftercare
Wear compression stockings after sclerotherapy, so bring them to your appointment. After laser, avoid heat and sun while your skin settles.
- 04
Review
Vessels fade over the following weeks, though leg veins can take longer and some need more than one session.
Downtime
Minimal: laser can leave mild redness or swelling for a day or two, and after sclerotherapy you wear compression stockings and may notice bruising that fades over time.
Results
Treated vessels typically fade over the following weeks, though new ones can form over time, so some patients return for maintenance.
Consultation
$150, fully credited toward any services booked.

★★★★★
“Loved the new location... Most importantly, [she] answered all my questions, and discussed my various options before the procedure. My skin laser treatment was completed in a highly professional manner, checking in with me repeatedly through out the service, and then reviewed with me my post procedure expectations and outcomes. As an older guy 60+ years young, always happy with the results.”
Is laser or sclerotherapy better for my spider veins?
Laser is our choice for facial vessels and can also treat leg spider veins and vascular lesions. Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive option for spider veins on the legs. We recommend one or both after examining your veins.
Do I need compression stockings after sclerotherapy?
Yes. Compression stockings should be worn after sclerotherapy, so please bring them with you to your appointment. We explain how to wear them at your visit.
Can spider veins come back after treatment?
Treated vessels usually stay cleared, but new ones can appear with sun exposure, genetics, hormonal changes or rosacea. Daily SPF helps protect facial results.
How much does spider vein treatment cost?
Facial treatments and leg treatments are priced by area, and we confirm your price before we begin. If you start with a consultation, the $150 consultation fee for new consultations is fully credited toward services booked.
